2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies work in the same way: tracking pixels, small scripts that send a request to a server, identifiers added to a link (for example after you click an ad), and browser storage. In this policy we call all of them “cookies”.
First-party cookies are set by myciaotransfer.com. Third-party cookies are set by other companies whose services run on our site, such as Google or OpenAI.
3. How we classify cookies and our legal basis

We only use Analytics and Advertising cookies if you click “Accept All” or switch them on in Cookie Settings. We do not use legitimate interest as a basis for any non-necessary cookie.

Clicking the WhatsApp button opens WhatsApp (Meta). No WhatsApp cookie is set on our site until you click.
5. What happens before you choose
Before you make a choice, no Analytics or Advertising cookies are stored on your device. Google’s tags run in “Consent Mode”: while consent is refused or not yet given, they may send Google a request without cookies (for example, that a page was viewed), which Google uses only in aggregate form. If you click “Accept All”, these tags start using cookies.
6. How to accept, refuse or change your choice
- The banner. On your first visit you can click Accept All, Reject All, or Customise to choose by category. Until you make a choice, only necessary cookies are used.
- Cookie Settings. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with this button, which is also in the footer of every page:
- Your browser. You can block or delete cookies in Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge and Opera. Blocking necessary cookies may stop the booking form from working.
- Google. You can also install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and manage ads in My Ad Center.
Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies used before you withdrew it.
7. How long we remember your choice
We store your choice for 12 months. We will not show the banner again before then, unless you delete your cookies or we add a new type of cookie or purpose.
8. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Google, OpenAI, Stripe, PayPal, Cloudflare) may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to, correction or deletion of your data and restriction of processing, ask for data portability, and object to processing. Write to info@myciaotransfer.com. You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
10. Visitors from the United States
We do not sell your personal information for money. Advertising cookies may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some US state laws. You can turn them off at any time by clicking Reject All on the banner or using Cookie Settings.
11. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when our site, our providers or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we add a new type of cookie, we will ask for your consent again.
