Book online in our booking form: choose your pickup and drop-off, date, time and vehicle, and you see the fixed price before you confirm. You receive a confirmation email straight away, and your driver’s name and phone number the day before. No account is needed.

A private transfer from Fiumicino (FCO) or Ciampino (CIA) Airport to central Rome starts at €90 per car in a Mercedes Business Sedan for 1–3 passengers. The price is the same from both airports and includes tolls, luggage and 60 minutes of free waiting.

Per vehicle. The price you see when booking is the total for the car, not per passenger, and it does not change with traffic, delays or the route the driver takes. Tolls, road taxes and city fees are included.

No. The price is the same day and night, with no night surcharge and no hidden fees. You only pay extra for things you choose: child seats, extra stops, or waiting beyond the free waiting time.

We recommend booking at least 12 hours before your pickup. Online booking is open until 4 hours before pickup. For a last-minute ride, message us on WhatsApp and we will do our best to help.

Yes. Book each ride in the booking form, or send us your full itinerary on WhatsApp or by email and we will quote all your transfers together.

Yes. When you book, enter the lead traveler’s name and mobile number, not your own, so the driver can reach them on the day. You can add any notes for the driver in the booking form.

After baggage claim and customs, follow the NCC / LIMO SERVICE signs (the green line) to the official meeting point in the arrivals hall. Your driver waits there with a sign showing your name. Italian rules do not allow private drivers past customs.

Right at the pier, beside your ship. Our vehicles have an official port permit, so your driver waits with a name sign as you disembark. You do not need the port shuttle or a walk to a car park. You choose your pickup time when you book.

Yes. At Roma Termini, when you come off the platform, turn right and walk to the pharmacy: your driver waits there with your name sign. For other stations, we send you the exact meeting point the day before. Free waiting at stations is 20 minutes.

Yes, to your door whenever cars are allowed. Some streets in central Rome are closed to traffic (ZTL areas, for example around the Spanish Steps or in Trastevere). There, your driver stops at the nearest permitted point, a short walk away, and helps you with your luggage.

Nothing changes for you. We monitor your flight number, and your driver adjusts to your real landing time at no extra cost. You do not need to contact us about a delay.

Message us on WhatsApp as soon as you know your new flight details. If you land at the same airport and tell us in advance, we move your transfer to your new arrival time at no extra cost, subject to availability. If your flight is diverted to another airport, for example from Fiumicino to Naples, we can often still pick you up there, at a different price.

Free waiting time is included: 60 minutes at the airports, counted from landing or from your scheduled pickup time, whichever is later; 20 minutes at Civitavecchia port and train stations; and 15 minutes at hotels and private addresses. After that, waiting costs €30 per half hour, but we always try not to charge it when the delay is out of your control.

Choose your landing time. The 60 minutes of free waiting covers passport control and baggage claim. If you prefer, you can choose a later pickup time when you book.

You choose the time when you book. Airlines usually ask you to be at the airport 2 hours before European flights and 3 hours before intercontinental flights; for a cruise, follow your check-in time. Add the drive time and a margin for traffic. Not sure? Ask us and we will suggest a safe pickup time.

Usually 40 to 60 minutes, depending on traffic and where you are staying. From Civitavecchia port to central Rome it is about 80 km, usually 1 hour to 1 hour 30 minutes.

Message your driver or us on WhatsApp before doing anything else. Please do not take a taxi or leave the terminal until you have spoken to us. We will find you within minutes.

A Mercedes Business Sedan for 1–3 passengers, a Mercedes Business Minivan for up to 7 passengers, and a Standard Minivan for up to 7 passengers (a Mercedes, Opel Vivaro, Renault Trafic or similar). For groups of up to 12, you can also book a Minibus. All vehicles are air-conditioned, with free Wi-Fi and bottled water on board.

The Business Sedan takes 2 large suitcases and 2 small carry-ons. The Standard and Business Minivans take 6 to 7 large suitcases and 6 to 7 carry-ons. If you have more luggage, tell us when you book and we will choose the right vehicle.

Yes. For groups of up to 12, choose the Minibus option in our booking form and you see the price straight away. If you prefer, we can also send two Business Minivans: just ask us for a price.

Yes, on request: infant seat €20, child seat €5 and booster seat €5. Choose them when you book and tell us your children’s ages, so we fit the right seat.

Yes. Small dogs and cats are welcome if they travel in a carrier. Please tell us when you book.

Yes, we can carry a folding wheelchair, and your driver will help you in and out of the car. Please mention it when you book.

Yes, but please tell us in advance. Bulky items take space, so we need to choose a vehicle that fits everything, and the price may change.

You have two options. With Reserve Now, Pay the Driver, nothing is charged when you book and you pay the driver at the end of the ride. If you pay online by card or PayPal, a 10% deposit is charged and you pay the balance to the driver. Drivers accept cash and all major credit and debit cards.

Yes, drivers accept US dollars in cash, but the amount is higher than the euro price because of exchange rates and commissions. Paying in euros is the cheapest option.

Yes. If you pay the driver in cash, you save 5 to 10%. We send you the discounted cash price the day before your transfer, together with your driver’s details.

Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before your pickup time. To cancel, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp.

Yes. To change the date, time, pickup address or number of passengers, reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp. Changes made early cost nothing.

Yes. Send us your name or company name, address and VAT number before your ride, and we will issue an invoice.

Tipping is never expected, and there is no service charge in the price. If your driver did a good job, a tip in cash is welcome and goes directly to him.

Yes. On long routes we offer stops at a fixed price, for example in Orvieto or Siena on the way from Rome to Florence. For other stops, ask us for a price. You visit, the driver waits.

Yes. We drive from Rome to Florence, Tuscany, Umbria, Naples and the Amalfi Coast, and to the Civitavecchia cruise port. We also arrange connections such as Florence to Milan and Venice to Florence.

Yes. Our full-day private driver service gives you a car and an English-speaking driver for as long as you need, for day trips or a day of visits around Rome.

Yes. Our Rome City Tour by Car gives you a private car with an English-speaking driver to see Rome’s main sights at your own pace, without the walking and the crowds of public transport.

No. Our drivers are professional chauffeurs, not licensed tour guides. For guided visits of the Colosseum or the Vatican, we recommend our partner Top Tour of Italy, a team of licensed Rome guides.

Official Rome taxis have a fixed fare of €55 from Fiumicino and €40 from Ciampino to the historic center inside the Aurelian Walls. A private transfer starts at €90 per car and adds a driver waiting in arrivals with your name, no taxi queue, flight monitoring with 60 minutes of free waiting, child seats, and minivans for up to 7 passengers with luggage.

Yes. Ciao Transfer is a licensed NCC service, and our vehicles and passengers are fully insured. Our drivers are professional, English-speaking chauffeurs.

NCC stands for noleggio con conducente, Italy’s licensed private hire with driver. Unlike taxis, NCC cars are booked in advance at an agreed price. Ciao Transfer is a licensed NCC service.

Ciao Transfer is a local, licensed NCC company based in Rome, not a booking platform. You book, pay and talk directly with us, from your first message to drop-off.

No. Never accept a ride from someone who approaches you in the arrivals hall. Your Ciao Transfer driver waits at the official NCC meeting point with a sign showing your name and has your booking details. If in doubt, message us on WhatsApp.
